Equipping Zhongli with Black Tassel means giving up on DPS. Therefore, it is only suitable for builds that utilize HP and Shield-oriented artifacts. The trade-off for sacrificing DMG is a nearly impenetrable Shield. Combined with Zhongli's Elemental Skill CD, the player can achieve near invincibility, thus becoming "solid as a rock."

Thoma is a character that converts the largest amount of HP into a Shield. Since this weapon is suitable for providing a Shield to Zhongli due to the boost in HP from its sub-stats, it is also a suitable weapon for Thoma. However, the player must pay attention to his Energy Recharge rate to cycle Elemental Burst DMG and refresh his Shield. While this weapon is equipped, the player must consider whether or not to equip Energy Recharge based on the position of the hourglass.

This weapon significantly increases HP, which boosts Candace's DMG. Since it is easy to obtain, it's worth considering as an intermediary weapon.
